'36 Ford Conv. "Smooth"
The most popular Ford for the car guys was the 1936 to 1941 model. their styling lent well to customizing wether mild or wild. The 1940 Ford coupe was the king of the dragstrip,it had a natural adaptability to the modifications needed to make a 1/4 mile champion racer.The car also had a great body style for customizing,it was and still is a real winner.This particular rendering is of a 1936 Cabriolet with a "Carson" style top.
