1940 Ford Convertible,"Lo-Fat Sled"

This is a true example of a "Lead Sled" ciustom. The term comes from the method customizers used to alter shapes of cars they were building.Today most custom shops use 'Bondo' or Fibreglas to form shapes, back in the time 'Lead' was used. to do this. The builder uses a torch and a stick of tin or lead melted down to form a base, then the heated lead was paddled into the desired form. It took a real craftsman to do this correctly, hence the term"Lead Sled". All images are digitally printed on 10MIL photopaper with a protective sleeve. ONE FREE NOTECARD with each order!
